One Dozen Farm Fresh Quail Eggs
One dozen farm fresh quail eggs for eating laid within a week of shipping at our small family farm in Wisconsin (these eggs are not viable for hatching at this time.) We care for our Coturnix quail with love and respect and ensure that they are happy and healthy!
Quail eggs are smaller than chicken eggs with brown spots. They have a rich, delicious flavor and provide a plethora of health benefits. They are a wonderful option for those with allergies to chicken eggs and a fun and healthy treat for dogs, cats and lizards! Each egg has a different pattern that is unique to the individual quail that laid them!
Unlike chickens, quail prefer to stay close together in groups and hide in small spaces or under cover so that they feel safe and protected. Our ladies have constant access to fresh food and water and also love to take dust baths in their sandboxes. We also provide them with fun environmental enrichment like hay, grass and plants.
