The body construction is suitable for all polyvinyl chloride (PVC), chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC), and copper pipe systems up to 4 in. in diameter.

These valves are suitable for use on potable water systems in accordance with the standards of the International Plumbing Code of Canada (IPCC) and are available in either L or straight-flanged LR models. The 556253 LR-15BWR Bronze Body Flanged Valve is a full port design, making it ideal for retrofitting applications where code compliant components must be used.
With a bronze body and dirt diverter, this system is designed to withstand the harshest water conditions. The 3/4" rubber tailpiece provides a leak-free connection for systems with flared fittings. The diverter valve on this lead free xylem is cULus listed.
This is our brand new HDFA Lead Free bronze CIRCULATING butterfly valve with bronze flanges. This unit can be used for potable water applications and has a minimum temperature rating of -15 degrees F.
