Actual item pictured The length of the shaft is 2 1/2”. This shaft is Hot Rolled. Believe it is 1045 alloy but not 100% sure. There are two saw cuts that taper inward. Should be able to get 2” from the shaft when Squared. Actual item that you will receive is pictured. Cuts are not square. There will be a slight surface rust on one end.
